Guest Post: Tour Highlights of the Baltic Capitals

Published , by

Cailin O’Neil of Travel Yourself was one of the members of a 6 person group of travel bloggers we took on the #JayWayBaltics tour of the Baltic capitals back in May last year. She’s edited a highlights video for us to post here. Just watching it made me want to go back, we hope it inspires you to visit these fascinating cities too.

“The JayWay Travel 10 days Baltic Capitals Tour though Tallinn, Estonia, Riga, Latvia and Vilnius, Lithuania is easily the perfect way to see the best highlights that these three countries have to offer in such a short period of time. The tour offered us ample city time but also got us off of the beaten path a bit doing the most unexpected activities like going bog walking, eating beaver stew and visiting the UNESCO site the Hill of Crosses.

This tour is definitely a great way to sample each country and city and because of it I now know that I must visit again and spend even more time in each place, especially Riga which I think I loved the most. If I can enjoy them this much in such a small amount of time then I am even more excited to see what else they can surprise me with next time.”

Planning a trip to the Baltics? We’d love to put together a Baltic travel package just for you. Get in touch to find out more!

  1. Thanks for sharing this wonderful post with us. The capital city of Latvia, situated on the Baltic Sea coast, this is one of Europe’s most popular cities for tourists. Riga has plenty to things from history to culture, from shopping to nightlife.
