Prague Team Meeting

Published , by

Last month our Prague-based staff (Nataly and I) had the pleasure of hosting our colleagues from Europe and the US for our pre-season team meeting. With flight-arrangement duties handled by Darja and accommodation reservations for non-Praguers made by Jay it was a great team effort; the whole thing (comfortingly, considering we do this for a living) worked out flawlessly.

For first time visitors to Prague we followed lunch at newly Michelin-starred Field Restaurant with a walking tour led our favorite guide and asked our team to shoot some video while they learnt about the city. We had the footage edited by Petra, aka The Restless Child and she incorporated the video into a Monday morning session on video-making (expect more video from us soon!)

As well as dining at some of our favorite restaurants around the city, we also took a customised food tour, enjoyed a sunset boat ride in ‘Prague’s Venice’, danced the night away to 80s music, tasted cocktails in the world’s second ugliest building, brunched at a winery and played laser tag, which was the standout hit of the weekend.

We tested out our newly redesigned guest survey on the team too, here’s a selection of their comments about the best aspects of the trip:

“I really like Casserol. It gives me a different perspective on Czech food. It was tasty and well presented.”

“Loved the Sunday brunch.”

“Loved Bugsy’s :-)”

“Laser tag was amazing! We really had so much fun there! Great place if you want to be active one of the days while on the trip. ”

“The first moments of seeing all colleagues again after a very long time and then laughing and chatting together about all sorts of things :)”

Here’s looking forward to an even more spectacular end-of-season meeting, location TBA, where we’ll be celebrating JayWay’s 10th birthday!
