
Join us for a trip to the glorious Konopiste Castle, the formal seat of Habsburg throne successor Frantisek Ferdinand d'Este. It originated in 14th century and was bought by F. F. d'Este in 1887. This nobleman used the mansion as his family residence until his death in Sarajevo which started the World War I. In the castle interior there are Ferdinand's large art collections, numerous statues and pictures
but one of the world's most extensive collections of historic weapons. A visit to the Konopiste Castle is an ideal half-day trip.
