Bled and Bohinj

The excursion starts in Radovljica at the medieval Thurn Castle. Then on to the mountain resort of Bled, known for its famous lake. During your visit it is recommended to take a boat trip on to the lake island, explore the castle including the historical museum of Bled, stroll around the lake, take a swim and sample the famous Bled sweet cream cake. Not far from Bled is the Blejski Vintgar which is a gorge with river pools, rapids and waterfalls. After Bled you will head towards Bohinj Lake which lies in the Alpine valley within the area of the Triglav National Park, ruled by the highest peak of Slovenia. Finish your tour with a stop at Slap Savica, a natural mountain jewel with a 78 M high waterfall.
