Explore Central & Eastern Europe's Jewish Heritage
Central and Eastern Europe have a long and rich Jewish heritage, with the diaspora setting up both Ashkenazi and Sephardic communities in cities all the way from Tallinn in the north to Dubrovnik in the south. Highlights of the region include the many synagogues in Prague's Josefov neighborhood, Budapest's Great Synagogue and Dubrovnik's Old Synagogue, the oldest Sephardic synagogue in Europe still in use today and just one of many Jewish Heritage sites in Croatia. Sadly no mention of the Jewish experience in Europe can be complete without including the various key locations in the holocaust and we can also arrange visits to Auschwitz, Dachau and Terezin. We have helped many guests get in touch with their European roots and the selection of tours and day trips listed below represents just a few of the possibilities.
