Charming Ischia

Ischia is one of the most beautiful Italian islands; surprisingly it became a popular tourist destination in the 1950s and it is now one of the most charming places to visit in the Mediterranean. The main elements that contribute to this charm are its stunning bays, in particular Sorgeto bay, and the beautiful beaches; there are also several hot springs, perfect to relax surrounded by a great view. One of the most characteristic parts of the island is the burg of Sant'Angelo in Ischia, a pedestrian zone with colorful houses and a very peaceful atmosphere.

Unless you suffer from sea sickness, there's no better way to see Ischia than by boat. We will arrange a whole day private boat trip with a skipper, and everything except food included. You'll meet your skipper at the most convenient harbor for you, around 10 am and spend the day circumnavigating the island by boat. Epomeo, Ischia's highest mountain. Once you arrive at the top, you will be rewarded with gorgeous views of the sea, the neighboring Islands of Procida and Capri, and even the Gulf of Naples. Enjoy them while recharging at the local restaurant and bar. The trek itself is a beautiful experience too, as you will be surrounded by stunning Mediterranean plants for the whole length of the journey. Even though this hike might be a little challenging, it is definitely suitable for people with an average fitness level.
